For installers, contractors and field-service companies
Sell your installation or construction company's data to AI labs
AI labs want to learn how the back office of a trade business works: processing supplier invoices, filling in credit applications, running payroll. In the US, data firms such as micro1 reportedly pay HVAC companies $150K for it, according to The Information. Your work orders, quotes and schedules are worth money too. Lodex sells a de-identified copy to AI labs, for up to €100K+.
What is your data worth?
Construction and trades
What AI labs buy
Work orders and fault reports
What the customer reported, what the engineer found, which parts were used and how it was fixed. Labs use them to train agents that read a call-out and pick the next step.
Quotes, estimates and variations
From enquiry or site survey to quote: quantities, hours and materials, and the variation orders that followed. Prices can be removed or kept as ranges.
Supplier invoices
Invoices from wholesalers and subcontractors, and how your office checked them, booked them to a job or sent them back. Exactly the back-office work labs ask for.
Schedules and rosters
Daily schedules, rosters and the emails and messages around them: an engineer off sick, a customer not at home, an emergency job that has to fit in.
Inspection reports and maintenance contracts
Electrical inspections such as NEN 3140, service reports for boilers and air handling, cleaning quality audits and the contracts with their intervals. They show how a technician judges an installation or a site.
Project files
Site diaries, surveys, failure-cost logs, snagging lists and the correspondence with clients and subcontractors, from start to handover.

Payouts
What a sale can pay
The size of a payout follows the data: how many teams, how many years, how hard it is to find elsewhere.
From €10K
One team, standard workflows
A single workspace or department: tickets, deals, invoices, documents.
€50K+
Several teams or years of history
Multiple departments, or a long, consistent record of how work got done.
€250K+
Specialised operations
Expert work AI labs can't source elsewhere: niche processes, regulated workflows, rare skills.
What drives the price
The price depends mostly on how many years of work orders, quotes and project files you have, and whether they link up. A call-out with its work order, supplier invoice and customer invoice is worth more than loose documents. A consistent way of working in one package, such as Syntess, Simpro or AFAS, helps. Trade records in Dutch, German or another language with little training data are rarer and worth more.
Payouts range from €10K–€600K. The final offer depends on your sources, their volume and quality, and our review.

Get paid
Once your data passes review, the money is in your account within 7 days. Nothing more to do.
What we promise
You keep your data and you decide what goes. Here is exactly what we promise.
It's data you already have
Years of records already sit in your tools. Selling a copy costs you nothing and changes nothing about how you work.
Nothing goes out unpaid
Buyers see redacted samples only. The full package is released after they pay.
Never to your competitors
We license only to AI labs and research teams, under contract. Nothing is ever published.
Cleaned before it leaves
Names, customer details and other identifiers are removed during processing. Buyers never learn who your customers are.
Secure end to end
Read-only, encrypted connections. Originals are deleted once processing is done.
You decide, in writing
You approve every source and sign the terms first. Nothing is sold without your sign-off.
What stays out
Your customers' details
Names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of homeowners and contacts are removed, including from notes and signatures. Photos in which a home, a person or a number plate can be recognised stay out.
Engineers and staff
Names, hours, sick leave, salaries and vehicle tracking linked to a person are excluded. The steps of your payroll process can come along without that data.
Access codes and key arrangements
Alarm codes, key safe codes and notes such as "key is with the neighbours" are found and removed before anything leaves.
Documents from clients and third parties
Specifications, the architect's drawings and contracts a client drew up are not yours to sell. They stay out, as does anything a contract says you may not reuse.
Questions
Is it true that HVAC companies get $150K for their data?
That is what The Information reported: in the US, data firms such as micro1 reportedly pay HVAC companies $150K. They had AI models do real back-office tasks, such as processing supplier invoices, filling in credit applications and running payroll. What your data fetches depends on what you have. The form at the top gives you a range straight away.
Aren't work orders full of personal data?
Yes, and it comes out: names, addresses, phone numbers, signatures and access codes. What remains is the work itself: the call-out, the diagnosis, the parts and the fix. You check a cleaned sample and sign off before anything is sold.
Can WhatsApp data come along?
Business groups and chats can, such as a group per project or the schedule with your engineers. You choose which chats go. Names, phone numbers and private messages are removed. If you have a works council, involve it early.
Which systems can Lodex read?
Exports from Outlook and Teams, from accounting software such as Exact or AFAS, from trade packages such as Syntess, Simpro or Bouw7, and WhatsApp chats. For each system we tell you which export we need. Where we connect directly, access is read-only.
Could our purchase prices end up with competitors?
We only supply AI labs, never installers, wholesalers or software vendors in your market, and nothing is published. You can also leave out purchase prices, discounts and hourly rates, or keep them as ranges.
We have fifteen engineers. Is that big enough?
Yes. We work with companies from around 10 employees. Years of work orders and project files count for more than the number of vans.
